Dapu Power Diesel generator sets · Chongqing, China

A Chongqing builder of generator sets for export

Chongqing Dapu Power Equipment Co., Ltd. assembles, tests and exports diesel generator sets from 20 kW to 1000 kW. We supply distributors, contractors and project integrators who need a correctly sized set, a documented build and a supplier who answers technical questions quickly.

Company profile

From engine selection to the packed container.

We work with engines from Cummins and Dongfeng Cummins, Volvo Penta, Yuchai, Perkins, Weichai, Shangchai, Doosan, Deutz and MTU, matched with brushless alternators and control systems chosen for the application rather than by habit.

Our scope covers the complete build: base frame and canopy fabrication, control panel wiring, fuel system assembly, load testing and export packing. Because assembly happens under our own roof, dimensions, tank capacity, voltage and control functions can be adapted to a specific project instead of shipping only catalogue units.

  • Open-frame, silent, weatherproof, trailer, vehicle and container builds
  • 50 Hz and 60 Hz, 220–480 V, plus 6.3 kV and 10.5 kV high voltage
  • Automatic, AMF and paralleling control systems
  • Export packing and documentation prepared for customs and commissioning
Questions buyers ask

Answers before you send an enquiry.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One set. We regularly ship single units to end users and small orders to distributors. For dealers we can also discuss sample pricing and long-term cooperation terms.

What is the lead time for a standard set?

Standard ratings with a well-stocked engine normally ship within 15 to 25 working days after the deposit is received. Custom canopies, paralleling systems and high voltage units take longer. The confirmed date is written into the order.

Which voltages and frequencies can you build?

50 Hz and 60 Hz, with output voltages from 220 V to 480 V for standard sets, and 6.3 kV or 10.5 kV for high voltage applications. Single-phase and three-phase versions are both available in the smaller ratings.

Do you accept L/C and T/T?

Yes. Telegraphic transfer and letter of credit at sight are both accepted, and the payment schedule is agreed in the sales contract before production begins.

What warranty is included?

Twelve months from delivery or 1000 running hours, whichever comes first, covering manufacturing defects. Consumable and wear parts such as filters and belts are excluded. Terms are stated in the contract.

Can you supply spare parts and service later?

Yes. Filters, sensors, control modules, alternators and gasket kits are available for the models we supply, either shipped with the generator set or ordered separately afterwards. Technical support is available by e-mail and WhatsApp.

How are generator sets packed for shipping?

Open-frame sets are fixed to steel frames or packed in fumigation-free plywood cases. Canopy and containerised units are protected with film, strapping and corner protection. Loading drawings are provided before shipment so you know exactly how the container is arranged.

Do you provide OEM and own-brand options?

Yes. We build for our own brand and for customers who supply their own nameplate, colour and documentation. Talk to us about your catalogue requirements and the volume involved.

Send us your specification.

Whether the requirement is a single 100 kW standby set or a containerised power module, we will reply with a technical proposal and a price.

Quality & testing

Checked at every stage, not only at the end.

Production follows documented inspection from incoming material to the load test, so problems are found on our floor rather than on your site.

Incoming inspectionEngines, alternators, control modules and radiators are checked against the order before assembly starts.
Assembly controlTorque, alignment, fuel and cooling connections are inspected at fixed points during the build.
Load bank testEach set is run and loaded, with output voltage, frequency, oil pressure and temperature recorded.
Final releasePaint, labelling, documentation and packing are verified before the unit is released for shipment.

Service & support

Support that continues after the container leaves.

Most of our customers are repeat buyers. That is not an accident: it comes from answering questions, supplying parts and standing behind the equipment.
